Kickboxing - The sport of using martial-arts-style kicks and boxing-style punches to defeat an opponent in a similar way to that of standard boxing. Kickboxing is a standing sport and does not allow continuation of the fight once a combatant has reached the ground. Kickboxing is often practiced for self-defense, general fitness, or as a full-contact sport.
Yoga - The Sanskrit word yoga means ‘yoke’. This 5,000 year old practice yokes (or joins) mind, body, and spirit in a holistic approach to exercise which reduces stress, improves circulation, and increases strength and flexibility. This class is appropriate for both beginners and experienced yoga practitioners.
Pilates - This popular form of exercise sculpts long, lean muscles and focuses on strengthening the “powerhouse” – the muscles on the front and back of the trunk. Pilates training also improves posture and flexibility.
