PERSONAL TRAINER AT GIBSONS FITNESS
Travis is a new personal trainer and Parisi Performance Coach with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science. He has a strong understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, and physiology, with a 5-year shadowing background in physical therapy. In high school, he played Tennis and later pursued Powerlifting at a collegiate level. Fitness grew on him at a young age when his brother and sister encouraged him to lose weight. Quitting was never an option once he started. The progress he noticed became motivation to continue. Staying consistent and patient helped him strive to success, but was only successful because of his determination. He believes fitness helps create a more balanced lifestyle which leads to positive physical changes, disease prevention, and a greater level of self-confidence. As someone who enjoys coaching and motivating, he too continues to learn from others, on a never-ending journey to improve himself. Part of his beliefs is to recognize one’s own weaknesses, and learn to strengthen them, fitness related or not. Finding balance in life, to him, is the greatest, yet simplest philosophy to living a happier life.
